In Jan 2024, my son and I had a 9 day power outage after a severe ice storm...No power at 29 degrees is a lot better than it will be tonight at 17 degrees.
Hopefully your power gets restored soon. If it gets really cold in your house another thing you might need to do. If your water pipes are getting down to freezing you’re going to want to turn on the faucets to a slow trickle. They won’t freeze that way. All your plumbing will be protected. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that. You just never know.No power at 29 degrees is a lot better than it will be tonight at 17 degrees.
I'd say you could come here, but driving conditions aren't the greatest. lolNo power at 29 degrees is a lot better than it will be tonight at 17 degrees.

Some hints on keeping warm.:-
Sorry if I've just told you how to suck eggs.
- Try and stay in one room, close curtains and doors, put a towel at the bottom of the door to reduce heat loss.
- If you have a camping stove, fill hot water bottles.
- Multiple thin layers, not a couple of thick, trapped air between layers is trapped heat.
- If able, a terracotta heater isn't great but it creates some heat.
