What makes you feel like a true adult?

I might have a different answer later, but for now...

Everything in my life is "adulting" and I would rather not sometimes. But, what really makes me feel like an adult is when my parents treat me like I don't know anything because I didn't do something their way.

Excuse me, I've managed to keep five humans alive and not live nearby for 20+ years. That didn’t change when I moved back, thanks.

This might be silly but having my all my scents coordinated.

So the same scent/brand for body wash, is the same for shampoo and conditioner, body lotions/oils and perfume
And having all the completed sets for each scent

First time I felt an adult was when a toddler was walking into me in the street, and her mother said to her "Mind the Gentleman" Of course I looked around for one, I was just a kid myself. I've been trying to avoid that feeling ever since.

For me it’s a well organized fridge and a clean kitchen sink. A freshly scrubbed sink that smells like bleach makes me feel like I’m winning at lifelooking forward to taking a shower and going to bed before 8pm

I hear you. My daughter turns 28 in two months. No idea how that’s even possible. And I’m proud of how she turned out. Probably in spite of me she is doing well.

I paid a bill electronicly postmarked on the 14th and the HOA desided to do their paperwork on the 18th and charged me a late fee for their amazing job. I wasn't happy.
