The Box set extended edition of "The Lord Of The Rings" trilogy, all I need now is someone to give me the free time and a generous amount of speed so I can watch it through!

I was going to say it was a toss up between the rotary saw or the stud finder my wife got. I was going to that is, right up until she put on the Chinese Blouse which somehow found it's way beneath the tree. Yowza! Now that was a Christmas Treat. (And she tells me she plans on wearing it when we go ou for New Years.

I can't say I got any one thing that was the best, everything I got was on the list and it was the perfect colour, size, and scent, etc.
One thing that does stand out is , my daughter and her friend won $75.00 at our local Wal-mart, so they went out shopping together. On Christmas Eve my daughter says to me to open a gift she bought me, so I did after making sure she really wanted me to open it before Christmas.
It was a silver heart pendent on a silver chain, she knows I had wanted one, from hubby, and hadn't got one as of yet, so with the money she won she spent it on a chain for me, what a sweet kid I have !!!

I had mentioned a while ago, in passing, that I wanted to get myself a new chopping block for the kitchen.
YOungest remembered, and got me one. I weighs a ton, is around 1 1/2 inches thick, solid wood...I love it.
When we spoke on the phone, he said the one he wanted to get me, was 'a slice of a tree', but if it had fallen to the floor, he seriously doubted I'd be able to lift it.
They have such faith in me *sigh*. When I tell them about a new piece of furniture or something I have bought, I get told to 'not try to lift it on your own, get someone to help.' What do they think I'm going to do, drag in some poor unsuspecting stranger off the street. Oh, youth.

I have a grumpy bear that I got when I was 5. He has always slept in bed with me and goes everywhere with me -I even took him into hospital with me when I gave birth to my daughter*L*
