Clearly we all have ideas of what the reasons are, and for the most part most are in agreement. It seems some took the plunge, some still hoping, and the rest keeping it a fantasy.

I think most people are bi, but many push that away due to stigma. Some become more comfortable with themselves eventually & accept it.
I would agree with you. I tend to think that everyone is born bi, and that circumstances early in childhood shape your sexual preferences. But later in life especially now with the internet, guys tend to lose their inhibitions.

I don't think it is something that you just try and forget about. My efforts started when I was younger and with age, the stigma and reasons for not enjoying both sexes have diminished. So I would say that if you are interested and you're here looking at posts, you might still have an interest--just find someone who might be more sexually appealing?

My perspective on the question:
Personally I believe sexuality is a broad spectrum with many different aspects and that all of us, men and women lie somewhere in the sphere. Our position within the sphere moves (to a greater or lesser extent) with age, experience and exposure (think gay/straight, sub/dom, bondage, pain, forced, and many others as the various factors that define our individual sexuality).
I grew up in the 1970s (reached teens) and although my specific memory is poor, in the UK as a teenager "gayness" was a concept that was unheard of. We all new certain men were "Queer", because they behaved in an effeminate manner (although I think that's a poor description as there was nothing women like really). Lesbians and Bi just didnt exist. I only came across lesbianism through references in porn mags as a late teenager. Porn mags were censored then. I dont think I saw woman and men or women with women until my early 20s. The pre-internet age was very very different. In common with most men of my age, we were straight and all we thought of was straight fantasies.
You are right though, most men are insecure about themselves and do check out other guy's cock size. But even that is really restricted to a smaller minority. I don't think cock size, during intercourse, has anything to do with a person being submissive or not. I believe it has to do with wanting to have the best experience possible.
