Thanks again for checking out my syrupy romance category holiday contest entry-to-be with the pregnant POV character. Imp also took a look and was still able to type after enduring the romance stuff, which I'm taking as a positive sign, and Logo, who's a midwife, said the pregnancy stuff was okay.

All this warm, affirming praise and whole-hearted support reminds me of an old Bob Dylan lyric:

When I was 11 years old, that's what I thought "oral sex" meant -- just talkin' about it. (Sooooooooooo glad I was wrong!)

EL, my grandmother instilled belly button phobia in my brother & me. She had us convinced they'd come undone if we fiddled with 'em. I was afraid to clean it 'til I got to high school.

Impressive....ooh maybe someone told that to me too and this is just the left over effect of it? ooooooh deeply psychological is that. It might come out years down the line in therapy or something.
