I feel that many folk may be unlikely to get a date when they find the invitation to coffee a stumbling block.
There's tea, there's frozen drinks, there's hot chocolate, cider water, pastries... or just conversation in a safe environment.

"Would you like to meet for coffee?" is actually a pretty open invitation.

"What the fuck!? You aren't ordering coffee!? Just leave!"
