Favorite music? Rachmaninov, Mahler, Sibelius, Madonna, Robbie Williams, Massive Attack, Royksopp, Zero Seven, Otis Redding, Dusty Springfield, Gladys Knight and the Pips, The Manic Street Preachers, Goldfrapp, Abba, Cindy Lauper, Nitin Sawhney, Texas, old skool dance, Chemical Brothers, Chicane, David Gray, Dido, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto, Billy Joel, Marvin Gaye, Morcheeba, Sarah Connor, Radiohead, Snow Patrol, The Cardigans, Underworld, Groove Armada.
Favorite food? I eat and enjoy absolutely everything except: devil's bogies (sprouts); olives; any kind of offal, including liver, kidney, eyeballs, etc.; venison; veal; animal products that aren't free range; anything coffee-flavoured.
Favourite literature and films? Literature: Sarah Waters, biographies, history books, current affairs, anything unusual, Thomas Hardy, Bill Bryson, books on linguistics.
Films: American Beauty, Aimee&Jaguar, Tipping the Velvet, Psycho, Jaws, The Matrix trilogy, But I'm a Cheerleader, Saving Grace, Bend it Like Beckham, Life is Beautiful, 28 Days Later, The Birds, Antonia's Line, Il Postino, Final Destination, The Girl Next Door.
Expletives most often used? All of them. Sometimes often, sometimes never - depending on my mood. I can have days when I swear like a sailor, and days where I don't use a single expletive at all.
Do you smoke? Yes. You know how you get wine connoisseurs? I'm like that with ganja. I usually leave it until last thing at night, though. Otherwise, Marlboro Lights, Lucky Strikes, Camel Lights, or anything that looks vaguely interesting. I only smoke about two a day, though, and some days none at all.
Do you drink alcohol? Once in a while, because I can't tolerate it. I get drunk on about a pint, and feel like shit the next day. Wine is even more lethal.
Favourite pastime? longboarding, video games, driving.
Do you have any particular fetishes or extreme likes? I think I'm pretty open to everything.
What are your priorities in life? At the moment? Being there for my family and friends, getting my own place in the middle of nowhere, and finding a job that I really enjoy.
If granted one wish, what would it be? Telling other people your wishes jinxes them.
Optimist or pessimist: Why? Optimist. Why? I dunnow. It's like a choice between being miserable about life, or being cheerful about it. I know which one I'd choose.
Introvert or extrovert: Why? I feel smothered by big groups and crave my own space. If I'm surrounded by just a few people I like, though, I come to life.
Extremely skilled and unskilled at: Skilled at learning languages, driving, thinking outside the box. Unskilled at anything to do with numbers - they make me glaze over.
What are your mannerisms? I find it really hard to rush, and it stresses me out, but other than that I don't know what my mannerisms are.
Describe yourself in 3 words: The girl next door, who can't count and interprets rather than follows the rules.
Ask someone else to describe you in 3 words:
How do perceive a crisis and change? I come to life in a crisis. Change usually gives me a churned up stomach, but I don't shy away from it.
