Can we give ofhabit2 a break? He said from day 1 that this is VERY beta.
Might I suggest that you keep a local copy of your stories and threads, so that if Chyoo3 dies, or whatever, you won't lose your work.
Worse than getting a new job that doesn leave you time for coding, or losing intrest is having a bunch of whiny pricks pestering you. This was his (or her... Did we find that out yet?) experiment. If you are doing something that you think will change humanity... Chyoo.net isn't the place for it right now. Go make your own site.
So unless anyone has any alternitaves.... Enjoy what we have here.

I was merely trying to raise the issue of how a site could be managed, paid for, and guided going forward without it being dependent upon one person. That seems to be a reasonable question as one thing I know for sure is that people change, times change and there needs to be mechanism for the site to be maintained beyond the one person who created it.
What I want to see is a site that is well maintained and run for the benefit of the community of users. I am happy to help with this process to any extent that I can both financially, and with time. I was trying to start a discussion on how that community might evolve. So I will throw it out there again for some hopefully intelligent discussion.
