Rebecca - how lovely.@}-}rebecca---- said:“Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again. It seemed to me I stood by the iron gate leading to the drive and for a while I could not enter, for the way was barred to me”.
My scene name has always been rebecca derived from the novel of same title by Daphne du Maurier. It has the added providence for me in that rebecca also means 'bound, tied' in its Hebrew origin.

I'm not even sure what the phrase "scene name" really means.Chicklet said:I don't think that I would ever want to use a scene name.

That du Maurier novel is one of my favorites.
The Hebrew meaning of Rebecca is a perfect match for your old avatar (the elegant, bound hands). Which I miss seeing, to tell you the truth.... Not that the gem isn't pretty, and color-coordinating so nicely with the gorgeous Sydney photo....
Alice
To be honest, your birth name is my favorite! It is absolutely adorable, and fits your personality perfectly.@}-}rebecca---- said:Thankfully since all others have enquired why 'rebecca' permitted me to keep it as well as using my actual birth name...lol......which alice you know.......)
