I have finally managed to process the last lot of B&W photos taken on holiday... now I need to scan then negatives. The joy of film, you get to see your holidays much later and wonder what the hell you were thinking when you pressed the shutter.

Have never experienced that 😊

Wrapping up a new story which is always a good thing, but need to resolve a question. The MC has long hair and gets it braided in a similar fashion as the picture below. Question is: are these pig tails or pony tails?
(fact is, I don't really need an answer. I was just making up a reason to post the picture without being too obvious that I have a sort of thing for attractive blondes.)

I've always thought a ponytail was one and piggy tails were two. But I wore cornrows, so I really can't help you.

Braided = pigtail(s). Loose = ponytail(s). I have always had a major thing for long-haired blondes, so know the distinction well.

I have a sort of thing for attractive blondes.

Attractive slender blondes. "Attractive blonde" to many somehow assumes voluptuous and busty. Not here.

It kinda depends.

Also could be twin tails.

Back in the day we'd spend an age trying to compose the perfect picture, with everyone in the right position and the light perfect and all the camera settings just right. Then we clicked, and forgot. Weeks later we'd see how they turned out.

Nowadays people take a picture in a split second, then spend minutes looking at it to see whether it's good enough.

A whole different attitude towards photography.

(Also, remember going on holiday with friends, and everyone filling out a list of which photos they wanted to order copies of?)

And most of the replies are probably because people want a reason to stare at the photo and pretend to think about the right answer.

There was the occasional bonus of finding a long-forgotten roll of film, too, anybody's guess what's on it until you get it developed.
