How about I task you?

Embrace the GPD badge and your journey towards the oval side will be complete.

You aren't makin' odd raspy breathing noises, by chance are you? That's so distracting...I won't remember my way to my new home if I'm worried you are going to pass out.

Don't worry, the noises are coming the exotic-fish aquarium we set up in the middle of the Oval.

Is it bad that mis-read 'exotic' to be 'erotic'? I did feel my mind broaden in that moment.

We have an oval package that is usually considered very appealing. It comes with its own grammar-police badge and full dental plan.
I think my ass is getting too wide for the oval. Can we upgrade to an oblong?

I have had an abrasive personality at times and that is a character flaw I am working hard on.

That is WHY, for the most part, that i dont write as maria anymore. She is a bitch...
When have you been abrasive or a bitch? Was I in a coma when this happened?

Particularly since it brings to me the thought that I'm not studied in my own ignorance.
I just had to quote this, though I'm sorry, not in context, because it perfectly expresses to me the intellectual thrust of this thread.

Well done, TMV. Rem tene: verba sequentur.

We're not ever halfway into the year, yet.

True, but look at the award-winning performances. You know, A., we really need an academy awards of pobo threads. The Poeys? :D

I am agog with how every thing.............

How is it that I am the boogie man when you keep refering to the tiniest portions of my posts and justify your epic Mind-god reflections? You obviously are not reading what I am posting. Maybe you just don't want to be wrong. After all, Majority rules right? No..., wrong, if anything the majority tends to amble down the same trudge to their inevitable demise. Think you so much of civillization?

Rome, Carthaginia, Macedonia, Persia, Egypt, France, England, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Russia..., so many great civilizations built and fallen. The majority is just mob rule..., on a larger scale. How about those that changed things? Marconi, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford, The Wright bros., Columbus, Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinci, Plato, Aesop, Sir Walter Raleigh, Steve Jobs, Benjamin Franklin. They never recieved the the notoriety they deserved in their time. They had to die and wait on history to recognize their contribution. And all individuals that never went along with the majority in intent and/or thinking.

And here you are decrying me as an instigator? You use a tiny piece of the puzzle to confuse and deceive. And you still remark that I'm angry and arrogant and ignorant. But still, whose thread is this and why do come to attack me? Because.............................., I won't think like you want me to!! Rather telling in it's own demeanor. You say that I have come to ask for reviews of my poetry..., but I continue to state that no..., I do not. I do not elevate my self as the end all to solution and poetry. But might I ask, (that as you have made it clear that you see me as missing my own self-introspection) why do you find it so unappealing to do such for yourself?

Oooooohhh, I already know that you will just glance and pick on what you want to prove your own magnamity. More like magnesium, add a little cooling water..., and your burst into fury! How about something that might fit into your self-immersion? Maybe this innocuos little "diatribe" can help you to understand the meaning in the poem now. It has all the same components of everything I write.

“Class War”

The sequence seems so co-incidental,
but the fault is all too apparent.
All this fear is the start of your break,
to warp your life, your path, so poor spent.
You’ve left me to fend for myself again,
it’s just another low blow, cudgel meant.

It matters not how sly your machine,
or invisible your subtle shadow labors.
Just maybe you are unaware,
‘yon dunce to stumble ‘pon the low,
for favors.
Your affluence blinds you, this master’s fate,
The straight path. No waivers!

I see you, I spite you,
that you dare bear me down.
To threaten you too much, with so little,
or nigh covet your gilt, lead crown.
I will turn and walk away,
for the anchors weight,
ebbs southward bound.

If you don't want feedback on your poetry then post them in the archives and turn off your comments and feedback options in the tools of your profile. It's really too easy. Go jabber your psyche theories elsewhere than on a forum specifically designed and designated for the titled purpose of poetry feedback and discussion, and where, I might add, most posters would rather help someone improve than to read your continuous malapropisms and syntax mangling defensiveness.

You open a thread with a poem and a challenge and then go on and on about those who rise to it. Why not ask an intelligent question about why the content doesn't seem to fit the theme? Or maybe when you're told it's full of syntax errors, why not discuss where you, in your almighty infallibility, may have made a mistake? You're not open to discussion or correction, all you say is that you're right and that you're right because you say so.

Most people would have published references to back up and (at least) some flexibility in explanation of their particular word usage, but I have yet to see any of this come through in your comments. Reading your writing and trying to comprehend your context is enough to give me a headache.

Perhaps, when you can acknowledge the validity of someone else's views, you won't be so abrasive to most of the people who have replied to you.

Good luck in your poetry. I'm glad there are a few who "get" your "art". Have a nice time writing. I just want to say, though, that the day I see you published in the New Yorker or any other reputable literary journal will be the day I'm convinced that Earth is no more and that someone had transported me to a strange planet.

I confess I am not, other than a very superficial cursory glance. I swear I try, but there are always so many typographical and grammatical mistakes, that I just can't go on. Plus, those images you add to your posts are so fucking annoying! Why don't you put them in your signature instead of the post itself? Wouldn't that make it a lot easier on everyone?

Honestly, that's what put me off his posts. I'll admit I've had a headache today anyway, so I'm less inclined to put out an effort. On the other hand, I'd have one by the time I finished reading his posts if I didn't already. The grammatical errors and tortured constructions combined with the poor me attitude--after he intitiates all this fuss starting a thread by insulting everyone--requires more efforts than I have any interest in confronting.

And catch a clue TMV: there's no epic battle going on between you and the people on this forum. It's the combination of indecipherable poetry (and I use the word "poetry" lightly), seemingly endless grammatical errors, and whining that disinclines people to engage with you.

PS And you still haven't figured out that 's is used to show possession, not plurals.

OKay, maybe I am just lucky, but I cant see his images, or is it because I disabled them in options?

hmmmm

And this is so amazing..........

You complain and you whine. You have but naught to offer supersilious comments about what I have done...., But are you not in this as well? I don't see how you can call me down and teach me what is right and what is wrong, when you can't even control your own furious nature. Bitch, bitch, bitch. If your here to help someone. And I haven't asked for help....., I'd say your sticking your nose in other people's business and your don't belong, where you don't have anything to give of a positive nature. Your own negativity rules you beyond your illusory conceptions. I would say there is only one person on this whole thread that has acted in the best nature God gave him.

Besides, if anything..., I've learned so much about the people who have posted here. Well worth the contest. Happy fishing amatuers.
