That is quite literally never going to happen, no matter how this election goes.

Clinton in 1992 talked like he was going to end China's Most Favored Nation trading status because of its human-rights record, but as president found himself helpless to do that because business interests would not allow it. Trump would find himself helpless to deport on that scale, for the same reason.

One of my bosses hasn't seen her father as much as she would like, not because he didn't want to be there, but because he was deported more than once. That's the kind of thing that has to be factored into those kinds of mass deportations, not even counting the damage that they could do to the economy in the short term. If we can crack down on the slave wages, the one real, economic issue with most of the immigration would fade. If we made legal immigration easier, that would reduce the issue of the illegality of it.

I'm a socialist, not a Communist -- but I chose a username meaning a Communist commissar because most Americans can't tell the difference anyway. Can't distinguish Bernie from Stalin. Some dumbasses even think Harris is a Commie! if only! She ain't even a social democrat!

After WWII, any woman in occupied Germany who was in danger of being raped by Soviet soldiers was advised to shout, "Commissar!" If a commissar were in earshot, he would come put a stop to it. And possibly deliver one of his dreaded interminable lectures about conduct unbecoming an army of the people's liberation.

That's what commissars were, among other things.
