People who characterize themselves as sapiosexuals has been a bit of a red flag for me pretty much as long as I've been on Lit... an early encounter in my PM box when I was new with a so called Dom portraying himself as a sapiosexual (when he spent 99% of his time in AmPics -ha!) both made me feel an idiot and like I should somehow submit instantly since I was making posts about trying to figure that out (did I mention I was new?)
Anyway... in my book anyone who feels the need to self identify as a sapiosexual or an empath overtly is more than likely an asshole, idiotic on important indices, insecure or needy.
I find myself agreeing more than not with Pmann's opening post assertion.

Also...I like Trekka's assertion of lowercase delibertness as no indication one way or the other of intellect.
