I also find it takes a hour or so for things to find a home when its caged. each of my cages fit a little different and depending of the time of day for if the balls are loose or tight

So, I've had constriction issues with my attempts at being caged again. Today, I went back to a larger base ring. So far, much more comfortable

I never though of using either of those. There are no bumps or inflammation until the hair can’t poke through the skin. I talked to a dermatologist and she said it could be that over time the cage has done something to the skin to toughen it up. The ingrown hairs are only on the top side of my penis at the base where the ring rests. I prefer a cage with a wider base ring, I’ve had some with thinner rings but they tend to dig in over time.

Thanks for the suggestion, it would be worth a try. I might so some skin tests. Both thoese disinfectants can cause irratation on their own. I just happen to have some.

So, I've had issues wearing any of my cages. Some feel better than others. Yesterday, I wore my tiny purple cage. Little bit of pinching. When I got home in the evening, I went to investigate. The only thing I could think of was the 2 scrotum rings. I took them out and it's amazing how much more comfortable I am. Slept through the night, no issues. So far today, no issues. Might be on to something. I'll keep everyone updated.

I have long since wondered about the added benefit of such a device. Please see this as a genuine question from someone with little expirience in te subject and not as a critique on what other people enjoy.
