Whats everyone doing today?

I'm finally getting around to fully waking up, showering, and, perhaps, accomplishing something today. (It was a long weekend.)

My day - not so much going on. "Recovering" from surgery, and this is the first day home alone. Hubby went back to work today - so it is just the dogs and I. I can't drive yet - and hell, can't even clean the house. (not that I have energy for it anyway)
Hubby will be home in about 4 hours - so I'll have company again...
Hopfully, tomorrow, I'll be able to do more, and not feel lonely and like I'm in the middle of a panic attack.

(and fwiw - no, I'm not usually a depressed person or anything - surgery just kicked my butt!)

The feeling depressed and lethargic is normal after surgery, as ed said. It takes a few days for the anesthetic to work its way out of your system.

Take it easy, AboutFace. Rest and let hubby pamper you. :rose:

I get to go shopping today. :nana:

*that is, if I can get motivated to actually leave the house*

Hanging out the washing.

Repairing the pipe that drained out over half a tank of (bought) water.

Feeding the animals.

Updating Little Feet's album.

Trying to supress negative feelings.

Going to the Library, then the Great Harvest bread store, then back home to scan paper documents & then get rid of the shit.

I just ran way too far in preperation for a half marathon next weekend. I'm not going to make it. I feel positively ill now.

today

My GF and I just got back from buying our puppy a new toy and now we are right in the middle of JONESING for some Killweed ;)

Sounds like a great day sg and an excellent idea! *mental note to schedule massage ~ it has been way too long*

I got to meet up with my friend that made me wear the orange bridesmaid's dress last year! It was nice to visit with her and her husband. :)

I am going to catch up on some school work. Later, E is coming by to visit me. :D As always, that makes me happy.

I put my life in the hands of someone I dearly love.

I taught my nephew how to drive a stick shift. Don't worry, the neck brace is helping ;)

Went apple picking, cleaned the pool and put the winter cover on it, and finished the ridge and skylight flashing on the shed.

Tommorrow morning I plan to bake some pies

Ooooh, that sounds good Scaly!!! What time's dessert?
