Yup, youngest turns 7, it has been a crazy day.. that is kinda funny that you say that she has been absurdly humble and minimalistic in her wishes... She whished for pastry for breakfast. As we always get, and then a trip to Tivoli Gardens, Vietnamese dinner, dessert cake and candyfloss... Obviously I spoiled her almost rotten, but that is beside the point

My oldest is 8, but she turns 9 in January

7 is a rather fun age.. but, do not listen to me.. every year, I happily exclaim, that this has been the most fun time we have ever had.. just to say the same the following year, because, they are constantly getting more and more fun..

Until they reach the age, where parents are stupid and they will rather live on their own.. Oh.. well. Then they are going to move out, and we are going to have even more fun sex!!!

Life is not that bad!!!

My boy is 26, and he only gets better, seriously. (And he never went through the parents are stupid phase, which was amazing.)

Girls are harder, though. It's super hard being a teenage girl. It's super hard being mom to a teenage girl. (I only have the one child, but my niece lived with us for years. HARD.) And then they get older and they're great.

Anyway, I thought every year was the best, too. My life is a hot mess, but I have this awesome kid.
