🎉🍧🎀 Ladies of Lit 24/7 Slumber Party🎀🍧🎉

I will. I’m not into strippers. I like Dad bods with fur. Think… the stripper’s Dad. That’s who I wanna bang.

Well.. they are kinda cute too!!! 🥰 The stripper's Dad... Yup! Like them as well!

But.. I have a hard time thinking about men, when I am hungry... I do not do hungry well.. 😅
So, I will gladly help with the BBQ!

As they shake their heads at their sons’ life choices and wander into the kitchen, asking if they can help with anything.

Yeah... See, this makes me weak in the knees.. that is definitely the best way make me swoon..🤩

Bacon? Someone said bacon?

We could start the BBQ, while the ladies are... Uhhmm.. Inspecting and grading the entertainment?! :cattail:

[stumbles into the kitchen with hair mussed and rubbing sleep from eyes]

Thank you, early risers, for getting started on breakfast  More words after COFFEE.☕☕☕

[makes single-serve coffee from fancy machine for immediate gratification, then puts on an old-fashioned pot of coffee because it smells nice]

Ooh. A slumber party! Looks like a lot of you are still sleeping. I'll get started on breakfast then. Good morning.

I'm here! Fashionably late and just in time for coffee! Brought some peppermint schnapps to add to it and some beer and cider for later.

Is there a hot tub anywhere?

Sunday morning playlist?

Many thanks to everyone who is bustling around the kitchen. I’m still stumbling through the house in my robe and cami, carrying a large cup of coffee, slowly waking up as the caffeine drips into my system.

For we North Americans it is Sunday morning, and I’m wondering what type of music others like to listen to at that time? For me, I have an elclectic playlist of old favorites that are relatively quiet but cheerful in nature, to help me gradually get on track for the day. It is heavy on soft jazz, and includes albums by Norah Jones, Django Reinhardt and Ibrahim Ferrer. But I’m always looking to expand my horizons, and would love to hear what your Sunday morning favorites are.

[returns to sipping coffee, still not quite fit for human conversation]

I have a very eclectic play list too… I need things that will get me up and going, so mine is heavy on things I can sing along and dance to

Currently listening to a playlist with Pentatonix, the Cure, Lizzo, Simon & Garfunkel, REM, Queen, Home Free, among others

"Anything but county!" I call from the coffee maker.

My Sunday morning playlist is a little like yours, soft jazz, vocals.... Diana Krall, Patricia Barber, Stacey Kent, Patricia Kaas, and older....Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee.

All female vocalists on that list...seems good for the slumber party! But male vocals, too.

I like this playlist very much! This is like my wake up and go to work list.

I do love the time zone differences, because of the "turning the clock an hour back" it is already dark over here in Denmark.
... Though it is only 17:04

But music wise... Personally I have an rather eclectic taste.. so Arctic Monkeys are often a part of my playlists, as are Kasabian, The Fratellis and lots of others🥰

Yay, someone to take over the playlist with when the mellow jazz is about to put me to sleep! 😂

I had to move on from the early morning mellow. It was putting me back to sleep and making me miss someone who I really don't want to miss.

So, livelier more eclectic mix, on!

And we'll add Arctic Monkeys, who I love too.
