Day 28: A song about Friendship, or is it love, from the 20s

Cassandra Jenkins - Hard Drive

Friends, maybe exes are all here as Cassandra takes us on a trip through her life... where "the mid is just a hard drive"
Slowly building, swirling, twisting... all combine to make this my favourite record for many a year.

Tennis is such a cute band. A wife and husband duo; for their first few albums they lived and recorded on a sailboat, just drifting around the world and making music.

They've said in interviews that even though they had to sell everything they owned except the boat, just to keep going, they were happy. Doing what they love. I'm so glad they pulled through 💕

Day 27: A song about Family from the 10s

Tennis - Matrimony (2017)

Day 28: A song about Family from the 20s

Tennis - Matrimony II (2020)

Day 28: A song from the 20s about friendship

"I always knew you to be better on your own
And now I see that you hated being alone
You said you'd tell me if you need me, but you don't

I hope you know that you don't have to pretend
'Cause I'll be there again and again"

"Are You Happy," Oscar Lang (2021)
(+1 for 7 total.)

Hi everyone! I haven’t been on the thread this week but I hope you all enjoyed the theme!

If you picked a theme on day 1 and stuck with it for all 7 days, you earned a second song pass.
This pass must be declared when you use it and it will expire at the start of next decades week.
(all other second song passes are now expired).

Day 29- A song with the word 'Baby'.

John Denver and the Muppets Christmas album is the best Christmas album ever. There are no arguments or contenders to the crown. I always listen to it start to finish today. And this song always makes a little teary eyed. I’m not religious in the slightest but I too wish that you know the warmth of love and wrap it all around you.
