Day 3: A song that’s under 2 minutes long

My kids sang this on repeat for a month straight!

Jiggle Jiggle - Louis Theroux ft. Duke & Jones

I only sang this on repeat for about a week. I must be losing my childlike wonder 🤣
How tall are you? For…science…
5'1.5" - don't forget that 0.5!

Day 4: A song that's under 1 minute long

I hoped we would get this far down. I had this in mind from the beginning, and almost used it as my "under three minute" song. Rather than a throwaway song or a novelty, this is a song I truly love, and have since I first heard it. It was written and performed by Randy Rhodes, the incredibly talented guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne's first solo band. Jet, the record label, originally refused to put the song on, as it didn't fit with what they saw as a heavy metal album, but Ozzy refused to release the other songs unless they did.

"Dee" is a lovely piece of classical guitar that Randy wrote in honor of his mother, Delores. My mother, also known as "Dee," requested that we play it at her memorial as well. It means a lot to me, for these reasons and others. We lost a lot when Randy was killed.
