I’m sat on my own in a lovely, quiet cafe. It’s one of my favourites.

The floor boards are still mostly stained dark brown, but the years have taken their toll. I hope the don’t change this, it’s charming. As are the often huge gaps between them.

The seating? A myriad of different types. Looking very similar to the flooring. Covered in sack cloth that is often a little disheveled.

One wall a bold mustard colour, another dark pink, one wallpapered and the last turquoise.

A bookcase of games, including scrabble and Triv. Another actually has books.

Today as ever I have a pot of their green tea.
