Amazing!I got up extra early and did a 10km cycle ride. even though it was early I still was dripping sweat by the time I got home. But felt good, and it lifted my spirits too, I felt empowered.

Yup, you overdid it.
On the other hand, now you get to enjoy a good relaxed, but probably a bit painful, stretching/ yoga session.
And as @Lmizzler said: water and more water, you need to flush the waste out of those muscles.
(And maybe some camphor/ menthol creme? Well, you are probably no stranger to DOMS, but.. you did work your leg muscles pretty hard, just pay attention that they do not swell or that the pain increases. I have seen cases where people needed to go to the hospital because of overtraining. )

And @Cat , yes I’m all too familiar with DOMS. I didn’t over do anything, just a little too much new, too quickly. I’m sure I’ll start coming to in a few hours and the yoga session tonight will be very helpful.
