2005 Weight Loss Challenge- Winter edition

??? did I say something wrong? :(
It was just a little frustrating to read your post. This thread is primarily a supportive thread for those of us trying to lose weight, and to hear somebody come in and say "oh, I'm so thin! I don't dare get any thinner!" can feel...well...disheartening. I hope you can understand my perspective. I just didn't get the point of your post. Maybe I misunderstood.

oh...... :( well I'm sorry then, I del'd it :(
You didn't have to do that. I was just explaining my frustration. I quoted you, too, so it's still visible. Like I said, you didn't have to do that. :)

oh.....well I'm still very sorry :( didn't meant to upset you.

51 more days until Spring offically starts. A nice thought as the first Winter storm is getting ready to invade Dixie.

Not losing anything because i am gaining muscle but i am feeling better, and seem to be getting a little bit more fit. Karate is going great and i am glad to have started it. Still hoping the weight will start coming off as i get more fit.

Still working at the 1200-1500 calorie range too. Good luck to everyone out there hope its going well for you all :)

I think I lapsed... LOL I ate my weight in chocolate today... Back on the wagon tomorrow...

I've been doing pretty good....Does anyone here use Fitday?

www.fitday.com It's a free service to keep track of everything food, diet and exersize related. I've used it for a while. If you want to look me up, my username is Angie420 on there, too.

I woke up today and weighed myself, 216. I started out at 230 on Jan 14th. I'm going on a vacation, to AZ for two weeks, in March. I at least want to fit into my old clothes (when I weighed 185) by then. I'm 5'5", in case you were wondering, lol.

I'm not adding exersize, yet. I plan to, but I want to use it as a weapon against a plateau, when I inevitably hit one.

I use Fitday! My profile isn't public though...I'm too shy for that. The only thing that annoys me is that you can't add a one-time food: everything has to be added as a custom food and then it's in your database permanently. Maybe the desktop program is better about that? I haven't tried it yet.

I actually combine FitDay and CalorieKing a lot!

I always gain weight when I start exercising.

If you wait till you plateau, it might be very discouraging to gain and you'll give up completely and eat 4 pints of Ben & Jerry's.;)

I'm just planning to add more walking (got a nice pedometer) and yoga. And I AM NOT GIVING UP!! ;)

I've lost a little over 4 pounds in 4 weeks. Next month should be better as my Nordic time increases.

No weight loss this week, but we've all been under the weather so I haven't been paying to much attention to my diet.

On the positive side, I found some good yoga/pilates DVDs at the library. I'm looking forward to using them.

February, my least favorite month. Between the promise of January, and the beginning of Spring, it sits like grey cold death. All the more reason to turn it into a positive month, and give it 4 weeks of solid effort. Better days are ahead.

(I've never liked February either. Why is it the shortest month always seems so darn long?)

Anyway, I'm back on track - lost a pound this week. I'll take it.

Hope everyone else is doing well, too.

I'm doing really good. I've never felt better in my life, lol, really. I feel so in control. I'm still a nonsmoker, 27 days now. I went camping this weekend (away from the convenience of modern technology). I figured I'd really screw up and gain weight. I didn't! I weighed 214.5 this morning. That's 15.5 total so far.

Master is really beginning to get into his role, now, too. I can tell, he loves it, lol. I asked him to remind me how fat I am to help keep me motivated, and he has been. Things have really been heating up around here and I'm loving it! He's getting his blood sugar under control too and not buying all the junk he used to buy all the time. I think I'm motivating him to get healthy....

I also got a pair of Nipple Huggers . I got the silver colored star shaped ones. They came today :) I can't wait until he gets home :p I highly recommend them.

I hope everyone is feeling good, even if the scale doesn't show anything....how you feel is what matters

I'm up to 30 minutes on the Nordic. I think I'll slowly push it up to 40.

*beats self in the head*

I don't feel like I've been doing too well lately. I still don't exercise at all (110% sedentary) and I have been snacking more than I should. I'm still counting calories, although on Monday night I had dinner out (well, we had an evening staff meeting, and dinner was provided - sandwiches) and on Friday night is our company holiday party (yes, I know it's February!). Plus I picked up a box of chocolates at Godiva this afternoon - for Valentine's, not for me! - but I picked up a single peanut butter cup for myself, too. It wasn't even very good - the Godiva chocolate isn't as good as they claim it is, and the peanut butter wasn't as good as Reese's. Bah.

I haven't gotten to the gym at all... I lost weight due to being sick... but it's all water and muscle... I'm very mushy right now... After not feeling like eating much, I would get calories in junk whenever I could...

Not doing well, but feeling determined to get back on track when I feel better.

Happy V day. We're at the halfway point. I'm feeling some changes. Not as much as I would like, but the next 6 weeks should be better.

I started a new job on Jan 19, so I do not get to exercise as much. I power exercies on the weekends (two hours each day). I do yoga and I wake up in the morning to do pilates. But I eat way too much. I love food.

I still don't exercise at all. I really need to start, obviously. I was thinking of water aerobics but I haven't gotten started with that. The elliptical trainer we bought is still sitting being used as a clothes-and-other-stuff (including dildo) rack.

Sounds like you need someone to make you exercise. :)
