Something like this? Bare in mind that colored pencils on black paper are a whole different effect than black pencils on white paper...

Wow! That was awosom

I was thinking of a more attractive face, similer to the one you drew from the magazine girl:

Ok. We discussed some details via PM and because of the nature of the colored pencils and the effects they produce, I'll do another one where the view is closer to the face of the nun. Any sensuality/sexuality will be focussed there instead of trying to do a full body view when it really isn't needed.

The plain-Jane look will get dropped and the new nun will have a bit more of the glamor look like the one that you cropped out.

Maxis groovis, everyone?

Alright fellow Literoticans. Today I did something that I never wanted to do as an artist; I invested in a "beginner's airbrushing kit." Mind you, I'm very much so a traditionalist when it comes to artwork. Pencils, pens, traditional paintbrushes, sculpting tools (though some of the liquid resin sculpting technologies that have been created in the last decade or two are friggin' cool!!!), etc., etc., etc. ...

Basically, I like "old world" techniques and tools. They're just cool. But, in the last several weeks I have been getting more and more calls for airbrush work because people have seen my personal work, as posted here, as well as my commercial-barely-paying-any-bills-IF-paying-bills-at-all work, and they have wanted the styles and subjects I do except in "airbrush."

So now I'm turning to any fellow artists out there for hints, tricks, techniques, whatever (except keeping this stuff cleaned), to make this learning curve go smoother. I've also purchased a bit of literature and a couple of magazines to go through.

Sweet, I haven't forgotten about you. I've gotten into a couple of paying projects that have eaten a bit more of my time than I expected them to, but I will get the next draft of your vamp nun done, maybe this afternoon.

Once you get the hang of airbrushing you'll love it...I recently found my old brushes, not that I plan on doing anything with them, but it brought back memories. PM me with any questions you might have.

Perhaps this is interesting for all you creative types?

Take a look. It could be fun, unless you are hell-bent on earning money.

:D

Please! Would love to have active involvement of our very talented AH illustrators.

Kick ass cover art (color) for the anthology (entitled Coming Together : An Erotic Cocktail) plus illustrations (b/w) relating to each story and perhaps additional illustrations (b/w) for any open spaces (partially-filled pages, etc.)

Ideas tossed around for cover art included a chick draped through a martini glass (obviously, couldn't show any "naughty bits" on the cover).

Will have merchandising options for any illustrations (mugs, t-shirts, etc.)

All proceeds will be donated to a free speech organizations.

She'll kill me, but it's worth it. Her husband was the model. She's had art in Marquis magazine. It's all pen and ink and stippling.

Alright. I've worked with contortionists from all over the world, and I couldn't get any of them to do the infamous "little red 'x' in the box" contortion for me. You'd best keep that guy as a model!

Here's the next Vamp Nun. This one is much more on the symbolistic side, rather than the realistic. Because I went in closer to the face I was able to have some fun with the eyes by adding some "blood lust" coloring to them. The skin has a better pastiness to it than the last one, and though this one has a bit of "glam" to her, there's still a sense of change in this one from the innocent that was to the bloodthirsty that will be.

Sweetnpetite, I know you wanted the same "glam" face that was in the previous B&W, but I've long since made it a habit to never illustrate the same face, or body, twice. It helps the works stand alone, which is a good idea for the good pieces, and an easy way to recognize the bad pieces that need to hit the circular file.

Let me know what you think.

I was flipping through some of my unfinished pieces and ran across this one. It was comissioned by a local guy who was totally in love with the comic book character "Witchblade." He wanted a pen and ink illustration of the character that was erotic but also something that he could hang in his home to be seen by anyone who visited. I took the half-down deposit that I required and he was informed that the deposit was non-refundable. I got as far as you see here when he backed out of the agreement to pay the balance upon completion.

Though it's unfinished, it's one of my favorite pieces because of the precision of pen and ink. The detail that can be incorporated without worrying about sharpening pencils has always been a fascination of mine.

The first is the whole unfinished piece. The second is a bit more of a close up for the detail.

Geez, what a dumbass.
It's beautiful, even if you say it's unfinished.

:D

That's what he was told. Not by me, but he heard it pretty good from what I understand.

Thanks.
