Halo_n_horns said:I was flipping through some of my unfinished pieces and ran across this one. It was comissioned by a local guy who was totally in love with the comic book character "Witchblade." He wanted a pen and ink illustration of the character that was erotic but also something that he could hang in his home to be seen by anyone who visited. I took the half-down deposit that I required and he was informed that the deposit was non-refundable. I got as far as you see here when he backed out of the agreement to pay the balance upon completion.
Though it's unfinished, it's one of my favorite pieces because of the precision of pen and ink. The detail that can be incorporated without worrying about sharpening pencils has always been a fascination of mine.
The first is the whole unfinished piece. The second is a bit more of a close up for the detail.
That is beautiful.
If you have no plans for it, I'd love to use the close up version for my poem. I think it could use two illustrations
