Finally contributing

I've been wanting to contribute to this thread for ages, but hasn't felt inspired (or my hand refused to draw). Finally managed to draw some stuff the other night.

Mind you all, bodies are not my cup of tea (I'm usually terrible at them!), but these ones came out unusually good (for me!).

No faces in the first two as I couldn't manage to make it look good.

Thanks for the compliments. Like I said, I'm usually terrible with drawing bodies, but I've always wanted to learn. I need to practise it.

Tulip, yes my current AV is an old drawing I did ages back. I usually stop around the waist as things go downhill from there...lol

Pardon the crap image quality. I don't own a scanner so took the pictures with a digital camera and tried to fix levels etc in PS.

I think every artist probably goes through that at one point or another. It's the passion for the work and/or the end result that has to dictate the hand to move. I had the same problem some years ago, but it was more so because I was just starting to work in subject matter that I was concerned about how it would be received. Then a simple thought came to my mind about it: Fuck'em!

Haven't had a problem since.
