Comments That Make Your Day

I opened this one with a bit of trepidation, since the particular story has been, um, 'polarizing.'

But:
Mirafrida, you are a goddamned genius. I've read this before a long time ago. And it was amazing. I totally forgot about it till I was watching an interview with an actor about a martian movie and remembered this story. When I looked it up, I couldn't believe it was the same amazing author who wrote the Mrs. Jones series, also great work. I think story captures so much of humanity in it. And I scroll down to the comments and you're still responding to comments of a story you wrote ages ago. You're the GOAT.

Thank you anonymous commenter! Made my week, if not month 😁

My newest, "Reunion," a 750 word story, just posted today, and I've already received several nice comments, thank you all.

But this one stood out. Might be the the best writing compliment I've had since I've been here.

You are a writer of many talents. You can be crude and rude, touch on subjects that make others blush, yet you can also be romantic, gentle and kind. Very impressive!

Thank you so, so much.

I will take that as a compliment of the highest caliber. Thank you.
it is. But you're still a bastard and I'm not going to forgive you. It's the best kind of sadness, your story. Bitter like dark chocolate, bitter enough to bring tears, but sweet enough to salve them.

I'll get you back.

On "The local vintage". I present it in its complete form.

And I was having such a lovely day today.

Then Buster here had to go and remind me I'm going to Hell 😆 🤣 😂

It seemed like such a sweet story. However, There is a God. So it is totally fiction. Enjoy it while you can. The lord appeared to me, here at work, almost 10 years ago. The 10 year anniversary will be in about 4 weeks or so. I guess I should write a story about it. LOL This story was nice, but just fantasy. Good luck with that. NON believers only have one place to go and it isn't to the good place. Good Luck with that. Buster2U

Should I remind him what his Good Book says about looking at women with lust in one's heart?

I'm sure that applies to reading, too...

My ex called me out for being transgender. telling me I was going to hell. I pointed out the one vague reference to men dressing as women in Leviticus, and then referenced the dozens about sitting in judgment of others. She hasn't said a word about it since.

I kind of think the entity that inspired the book had his priorities right in this regard.

Not to go too much off-topic, but I think many religious and moral people are much more into the "you mustn't!" rules than the "I should" ones.

I don't wanna turn this thread into a Bible bashing thread or a debate on religion. I try and be respectful of other's beliefs.

Just found it humorous to be told I'll be burning in Hell from a guy who im sure would blush terribly if Jesus checked his browser history.
