This isn't a story. This is something more. This is that subtle feeling which has no name, but that we all know intimately. This is art.

Having just read and commented on how difficult it must be to write a really good 750 word story, I laughed my way all through this one. Five stars and on my favorites list. Bravo! Oh, and while I am most unlikely to find a girlfriend in my future, I sure as hell ain't owning a cat!
Glad to have your respect. You ever want to leave a similarly positive comment on one of my stories, I’d welcome it.Not one in particular, but I love that so many authors I respect are commenting on Souls Last Kiss in a positive way; @AchtungNight, @EmilyMiller, @Djmac1031, @SabrinaLangdon...
And to @Djmac1031, "Succubus? Angel? Both? Intriguing end twist."
"This had to be heaven. For all I cared, it could be hell. I just knew the ecstasy I was experiencing at this goddess's whim was worth whatever it cost."
I intentionally left it to you to decide.
Where do you suggest I start? You have a lot to offer.Glad to have your respect. You ever want to leave a similarly positive comment on one of my stories, I’d welcome it.
Hopefully your protagonist ends up in Midnight’s Palette or somewhere similar. Look that place up if necessary.
On religion, I think a lot of jerks who emphasize it are into the “I’m better than you” attitude or exploitation and hypocrisy than the charity and forgiveness aspects. And that’s terrible. I was raised Christian conservative, but I call myself a spiritual agnostic because I am appalled by hypocrisy and holier than thou ignorance. I also don’t like going to church and don’t consider lust a sin as long as you approach it with ethics and discipline. I have known plenty of people with libertine sexual habits that are good people regardless. I’m one myself. The positive religious characters I feature in my stories like the Shapiro family, Erika, Seelah & Arue, etc are also like this. It should be obvious the villains are the opposite. They can keep their weaponized morality and high horses. I feel better helping others when I can and enjoying life than I do satisfying anyone else’s miserable bs.
Amen to that second paragraph. I’d be glad to help said entity tidy up the universe’s issues too one day- in a Chaotic Good way preferably. Heh.Where do you suggest I start? You have a lot to offer.
As for religion, I have a difficult tie believing that an entity that can create this vast yet delicate universe doesn't have more to worry about than who sticks their dick in me.
Can ya'll please post the next chapter! It has been submiited and people are waiting. C'mon literotica give the people what they want.
Funny story, got a good laugh!
If it were only a true story.....
Nicely building on the original, which I also liked.
If only that app were really available....
I really enjoyed it all. I loved the different feel of each story and how they still shared a connection. Like they work so well on their own but together just elevates them.
I'm definitely gonna reread them
Coming Home still drawing a lil attention. Now this is what writing is all about! enjoyed every word of it!
10 Big Blazing Stars. Great Writing, You had me helping with the survivors. I was really in the USCG, I was a Coastie, going through a Hurricane at sea, you will never forget the experience. Thanks for the effort. Buster2U
Miller’s Rule is that anyone who cannot come up with a better critique than “written by a high schooler” is not worth any time or effort.Like a poem re-written into a bad short story that was done by someone in high school.
Considering how badly the comment was phrased, I doubt anonymous knows much at all about writing at a high school level.Miller’s Rule is that anyone who cannot come up with a better critique than “written by a high schooler” is not worth any time or effort.
It’s the equivalent of “yo mama fat!”

I love the bullshit. I love the swagger. I love the naval aviation jargon and the Clausewitz quotations and, oh yeah, the vividly described lesbian sex. Five stars
Ok, I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for fairies and other such creatures. Wonderful job of writing, and I liked the outcome. And sometimes Anonymous is a gem:
Damn fine blending of "fairy tale" (yes, I know wood nymphs aren't fairies but the concept is the same) and cold, hard reality (the unending, unstoppable exploitation and destruction of livable habitat for all wild creatures). I began reading with my heart in my throat at the foreknown fate of the nymph, ended it feeling only marginally better in knowing that the nymph's life would not be "totally" without hope re her purpose in living. (That damn Pandora's legacy is all we have left.)
Your writing evokes all the poignant bittersweetness that permeates life; thank you (I guess) for sharing your magic with us (though my heart still aches for Emma even though she's your fictional creation.

People think the fairies I put in my stories are weird. They've appeared in The Gate series and Enchantress seriesOk, I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for fairies and other such creatures. Wonderful job of writing, and I liked the outcome.
Having worked with multiple translators during my career, I can confirm that they often provide comic relief. In Enchantress I used them as a light source, translators, and comic relief
