Dear X

Dear X

I can’t work out how you seem to come across so sweetly, amusing and kind and you have such a godawful posting name.

what were you thinking?

I think we all come to Lit thinking with our other heads and lips before sense overtakes us. Sometimes, sense moves a lot slower on a particularly horny day 🤭

This cracks me up. Sometimes when I see what people choose as names, I think, WTF was going through your head when you chose a name? Even better when you finally see their faces.

Wait, wasn't she talking about you when she wrote that???? :p :p :p

I would’ve guessed that, but I don’t think my name is too controversial. Unless she’s interpreting it as pee man, in which case my face is red. 😳 Or yellow.

And, to be fair, my name was originally just pmann. Laurel changed my name at one point to put the Lord in front of it. I suppose it’s because I come across all regal and shit.

See, I thought you were the King of Golden Showers.

Dear Me,

Well, fuckin' A, that little looks like it might work. I'm sure my happy little soul will be crushed by the complexity of all this later, but for now, chalk one in the win column!
surprisingly, "excel to the rescue!"

Signed,
Hey, I gotta take my wins where I can get them.

Dear X,
Keep it up and after our parents have passed, you'll never see me again. I put up with your crap now for their sake, but if you keep this up, you will kill any chance of a future relationship.
Me

Dear X,

I haven’t met you yet, but I know you’re out there lurking and ready to destroy any future relationship I might have with my Litster boyfriend that doesn’t exist. We may be virtual lovers, but I take my cyber sex seriously. If I ever come across you I will post Loretta Lynn’s FIST CITY ( see below) and say unflattering things about you! (Hope this helps Pman.)

Dear M,

I know I thanked you, but I am certain I could never thank you enough. You were a teacher, a mentor, a coauthor, a colleague and most importantly, a friend.
I owe so much to you. You were instrumental in my early success, but your lessons and your example have always been there as I matured and took on new roles.
I don't think I've ever done it anywhere near as well or as loving as you did, but you're an inspiration none the less.
And now you're gone. I know you will rest in peace, as all good men do.

Sincerely,
Me

I lost someone like this a few years ago. It's devastating. I'm sorry for your loss.
