It's not difficult to see the difference between some camo thug bullshit and an ROTC uniform, I'm not saying someone couldn't wear a disguise to do that, but I think most sane people just see the cadets doing their thing like they do every week.

If she can't tell the difference between the ROTC cadets on her campus and 'camo' then we are right back to her either being too stupid to be taken seriously or she's just starting shit because she knows she can get all the hysterical anti gun nuts out there to jump in with her without even looking.

So do the ROTC cadets on campuses nation wide, especially on days they drill, with rifles, just like the Deanz told the rest of the staff would be happening had she cared to pull her head out of her ass and pay attention.

How safe should she feel when she sees disguised people NOT obviously LEOs openly carrying firearms? How safe would YOU feel?

They aren't disguised ....they are uniformed cadets for the reserve officer training corps of our armed forces.

I feel as safe around ROTC cadets as I do a bunch of cops. They are all armed, most can't shoot for shit much less know how to act in actual combat and very few have learned how to listen to instructions for shit.

Given the uptick in school shootings and the tensions at the University of North Dakota it isn't a leap to think that two young men in camo carrying weapons may be up to no good and warrant a call to the police.

There's nothing wrong with caution on the part of a professor or any school faculty member if they see something that they feel is suspicious. As it is this turned out to be nothing but a case of mistaken identity. But this story could very easily have gone a very different direction.
