Well it kind of died a natural death really. I'm very flexible with my time and more so since the credit crunch hit. I generally see 3 or 4 clients a week at times to suit them as far as possible so my free time is around that.

Do you get go on holiday often?

Yes but obviously if I don't work I don't earn so a holiday costs me the price of the trip plus the money I would have made if I'd stayed and worked. If I took too much time off people might go elsewhere and I'd lose clients. Last year I had one 2week holiday, one citibreak of a few days or so plus a few days off at Christmas. The recent snows have also made things problematic here and I had to cancel one booking because the roads were so bad and snow was still falling.

She has to be prepared to see herself as a commodity, make use of her assets and be unconcerned if the occasional client finds her unattractive. Some clients are wonderful company and become friends over time but many won't and you can't go taking anything personally in this game.
