For the Love of Stephen King

HSB was an awesome debut novel. Joe is chip off the old block, for sure. Also, NOS4A2 is my favorite from him, highly recommended!

Also, hope you enjoy MM, and I won't give you shit for waiting this long to read it! 😉
I don't know why I've waited so long to start it but I'm on a reading roll so here we go! 😁
Delivered a few days ago. Gonna start reading today. Wish me luck on my first stephen king.

I loved this book. I hope you come back as you progress to let us know your thoughts!

I liked the Bachman books more than the rest, but I never got around to reading The Regulators.

Became a fan of his novels after a friend gave me one of his novels, The Stand, as I was hooked. That was decades ago and still have all the novels of his I purchased through the years. Had to be a loyal fan to get to the end of The Dark Tower series and wait for the final novels for which I purchased the hardbacks. At times his detail needs a second read on the page to take in all the detail, so can be a heavy read but you certainly get value for money with his novels. Will always be a Steven King fan.

Getting it done. Sorry it’s sideways. I can’t be bothered trying to fix that shit
I reread this one over the summer since I hadn't read it since it had been published and loved it. SK really captured life (minus the ghosts etc) along the southwestern gulf coast, which is where I grew up and still love. This is also the only novel that was mostly set in Florida, where he and Tabby spend their winters (and have for many years now).

I really liked the gingerbread girl. Which was a short story set in the keys. It’s nice to see him leave Maine every now and then.
