not much is new. my mom has been having car trouble, so i spent the night ferrying her around. drop the rental off, pick her car up, she calls me, it died again, back there again
No... don't have any big vacations planned... rather just enjoy and relax my time off, because would have to take a vacation from taking a vacation to relax.... Any big trips planned for you?

i should get my passport, just in case. i got a notice today that i have to take the written test to renew my driver's licence
about you having to take a written part to renew your licence!!
yep you need a passport now to travel between the US and Canada.
i haven't taken the written test since i got my licence.....and that was a few years ago. just a few. i'm not old. I AM NOT OLD!!!! ok, maybe more than a few
funny story about the border. last year on the way home, it was 4 am. and we pull up to the border to come home. i'm driving. there's one guy outside and a woman in the little box thing with the window open. he takes our licences and gives them to her and then starts asking me questions. looks in the backseat of the suv. wants to know where i got these chocolate covered pretzels (whatever). the woman says to me "is this weight right on your licence?" well, obvioulsy not. i haven't changed it since i got my licence at 16. i say "no" she says "you know you need to get a new licence, this is illegal"
whatever bitch, just give me the damn licence and thanks for pointing out i'm fat

you must live in canada, eh? yes, in the states we have our weight on our drivers licences. ugh. the whole rest of the day, my husband would say "want to stop at mcdonalds quick" i'd say "no, i'm fat" it was a fun way to start the trip.
