I’m so old I remember…

In no particular order, ISOIR: Sour Cherry Balls at 3 for a penny; a piece of Bazooka bubble gum, complete with cartoon, at 1 penny; safety belts in cars avaialble as an option, colour keyed with the car interior.
 
I remember riding a mule (donkey, maybe) on the attraction that sauntered through the setting that the Mine Train traveled at the original Disneyland.

Running backs had numbers in the 20s and 30s. Sometimes 40s.
Offensive lineman had numbers in the 60s and 70s
Wide receivers in tight ends, had numbers in the 80s

Linebacker said numbers in the 50s
Safeties and quarterbacks had numbers in the 20s 30s and 40s

Altho, I remember Brad Van Pelt as a linebacker wore #10… so there’s that.

Kickers and punters wore those helmets with a single bar

My college girlfriend's tanning solution was a mixture of baby oil and iodine. There was no "screen" in there at all!

There were no boom boxes, so we would take an 8-track player, speakers and a car battery down to the beach to have music while surfing.
