Hi Jenny,
the biggest problem is the 18 time difference.... we get around that... late nights for me... early mornings for her...

The worst part is not knowing what is going on in the local eara, her's I mean... and vice versa... it is a worry when you get news second hand... after the fact...

But we have the good times to make up for that, more than make up

She is finishing work on the April 30, so the count down is on...

and definitely not hours yet..

Does that mean she will be moving to be with you soon? You too are so lucky! Congrats!

I have to wait until June 28th to go to the UK. I did get my passport photos today and I will apply for a passport by Friday. I won't be able to see my love until the 28th. Talk aobut your days going slowly....

*sighs* Daeth's new schedule is in effect again and though he said he'd try to get out early, chances are I won't see him tonight. It's times like these that make me realize how much he means to me. We have been through so much together and though our meeting is still months away, August is looming close. Too bad we don't have the dates set yet.

Congrats LTR I envy you and I'm so happy you're all settled. You have kids... How did your family react to you moving? And did they know how you two met?

Hugs to Ebony, Lady Sam and T.C. Any countdown to getting together is a GOOD one! The second you see your loved one again, all the anxiousness and "agony" of waiting disappears! I'm happy for you both!

Meanwhile, at least we have our screens, phones and emails to keep us warm!

I know the feeling, Lady Sam! Waiting is so tough. It's amazing how quickly 3 hours manage to move when you're online together though, right?

I usually read some poetry/stories online, or read through some of the lengthier threads to pass my computer time. How about curling up with some nice "sexy" reading material?

Ebony... she flies out of LA (LAX) on May 8, 9:30 pm... lands here in Brisbane on may 10, 8:30 am. Lose a day on the flight over. that is now NEXT month...

I agree that reading what other's are up to has helped me get through many rough patches. Things are still kind of "boggled" for me, but it's much better this week for some reason! (*cough*.. Oman has a LOT to do with it!)

I have been reading too. Books on traveling ing Great Britain. I have also been revising my resume, and looking at the job stituation in the UK. Seems it is not as easy to emigrate there as it is here. But I guess it can be done!

Also, getting my passport and stuff like that is keeping my mind busy.

OK things have sped up considerably for me..... Remember the slow thing ummm NOT working!! We are looking at August now too. Just a meeting no moving.... But its pretty scary to talk about the future! Its hard to try to think of this as a "normal" relationship cause in lots of ways it is and in others its not....argh!
