Long Distance Relationships

Oh TC what's bad is I had both parents there until this. It is just so frustrating but I can understand their worrying too which is hard. But I will get there.
 
Another countdown?

It just dawned on me, Hat, that you have started another "countdown"!:D

It's so frustrating not knowing when Oman and I will next get together. Things are so fragile for both of us (especially financially), so we really cannot make any of OUR plans until each of us is back on track.:(

Today is a nerve-wracking day, waiting for news, for BOTH of us. Thank goodness we can share our worries with each other! Looking forward to a nice "cozy" LDR weekend!:p ;) :rose:

Ah Jenny but after this it will be a long time before he gets back again hun. LOL you will all see more of me then ever then. I will miss him so much but I know these things take time and I am not going anywhere. It is wonderful to be able to have him back so soon though. I just don't want to think about letting him go this time though. Last time it was a lot easier since I knew when he would be back. This time will be a lot tougher.

LOL captjack and I wound up starting a story posting back and forth on the tub flirting thread. I talked to him about Marty and we are really just having fun thinking of things to write up. But just to make it clear to all that it's not really the 2 of us but 2 characters the woman has different hair and eye color than I do.:D :kiss: :kiss:
 
I'm so utterly out of my mind (In boredom) That, I shall actually place this poem here... it's an old one from my personal website... I'm an innocent writer, this is an actual first to be writing in LitErotica since I've been reading 2 days ago... dont' get me wrong, I'm not a complete perv, just a common hornball that has a sucky girlfriend. (Contemplating on dumping but then, I've got no place to poke...) Ah well anyway, poem, poem... POEM TIME!

It has gone untitled for three years and now I give it a title, that it deserves... "Distance..."

So much can be said as to how I feel,

Towards you,
Towards us,

I just want to hold you,
Feel your body close,

Feel the soft touch of your hands,
Feel the soft warmth of your body,
Feel safe in your arms,

Look into those pools of green eyes,
Lose myself in your love,
See the fire of your passion,

See the purity of your soul,
Feel that you complete my soul,
I feel no fear,

I believe I am truly blessed,
I look up and pray at nite,
Pray that everything will be fine,
Is it that you truly are there?
After so long of being alone,
After passing through so many masks,

Being hurt by the players,
Losing everyday in the game,
Is it truly happening that you are here,
Loving me now?

Yes, it's a silly ditty, it's one that isn't really having no form or anything, it's just... weird... she loved it... least I think she did...
 
I love it, Draznyte! It, naturally, expresses the feelings we LDRs feel and yearn for. Poems do NOT need structure when they come from the heart. (Check mine out for example!);)

Hat... I'm enjoying the story you and the Captn. are sharing! It's another form of poetry, and it's something you and Marty can share at a later time! (I remember "sharing" Tulip's Halloween story with Oman!! Still get chills over that one!):D

thanks jenny, my son is with me at the moment... spent last night (Friday night for me) it's good to see the kids... i usually have them one at a time.

I am taking him home at lunch time. I have to fix something at his mother's house, it's funny to mention her here... you all know her. I'm just not saying who she is... :) <more like a *WEG*>

I was on the phone to Heather just now, the day we had planned for Today is now cancelled, she was called into work... late shift... my whole daylight hours.... :(

Anyway... we will be together soon... just 34 more sleeps until she arrives...

Hope everyone has a great weekend, I'll be back to check out who's about later...

Well that's very good and i for one are very happy for you .
It takes alot of work on both partsto hold it together and for it to happen so quick is good to ya'll did'nt have to go through the little games that are played.
You knew it was right ,and that was that .
Now that's how it to work not playing head games with each other, my hat is off to you , may you be happy forever, and you will be you got it together.
See people it does work ,go for it ;)

Guido and sxychick I am so happy for the 2 of you. Welcome to the thread and I hope to see a lot of the both of you.

OK guys I may never get to heaven for this one but I can live with that!;) The cardiologist called me today to say he wasn't waiting for the 22nd to put me on meds they will start tonight. I called the parents to let them know and Mom was so relieved. Evidently the stupid nurse at the hospital told my Mom when she got her from the waiting room that they almost lost me during the test. Why do they say things like that to a 72 year old woman?!! sheesh

Mom was worried about me being alone in case something happened while I started the medication. I told her my gf from Georgia was taking a break and would be staying with me for at least a week. OK so I am lying about who will be here. But at least someone will and that is what she wanted. OK so I will never make saint hood but I will be happy!!;) :heart: :kiss: :kiss:

LOL sxychick21 I am currently walking someone that posts to my Florida Directory and fixing her computer! I am a computer major, Marty is a computer tech with more knowledge and experience than I think I will ever get!:kiss: :kiss:

Oh and I am very happy! But it's hard to worry about this problem for me it's been happening since I was 11, they just never knew what it was before.:rolleyes:

Funny that you mention computer techies. That is what Guido is....lol

I am a bit of a computer nerd myself, but more software than hardware. I'm excited for when hes finally around all the time. Just so i can have him fix my computer of course....giggling

LOL yes he always talks about what he wants to do to my computer when he's here. He did manage to get a few things done while I was cooking. Somehow when I wasn't busy he never managed to be able to work on it.;) :D :kiss: :kiss:
 
*Sighs* Well I got to spend my little bit of time with Daeth today while I was at work. Not much for quality time. He has to work a really late shift so I most likely wont see him till tomorrow night. Gods I hate this distance. I would love nothing better than to curl up on the couch and wait for him to get home, have him wake me up with a kiss and go snuggle in bed together. Grrr Is it August yet?
 
Oh Lady_Sam I talked to Marty today on the phone while I was in bed laying down. All I could think of was having him there laying with me, snuggling so wonderfully and enjoying the feel of him against me. God I had better stop or I will be in trouble!:rolleyes: :kiss: :kiss:
