Pmann discusses Lit Economics- Demand for P vs V

Assyrians do still exist, but not the ancient kind in the way that modern Greeks aren't the same as ancient Greeks. Speaking of Greeks, the second set of artifacts seems to be more their style, but anyway, the Syriacs, the Chaldeans, the Aramaens: they all trace their origins to ancient Assyrians, as well as the early Christian churches that sprung up in the later Roman period.

We're used to the idea of cultures having distinct nation-states these days, but they don't have one. Many live in northern Iraq and Syria, and have suffered through the wars and instability there, many fleeing overseas.

But anyway, the top artifact also isn't Assyrian :cathappy: It seems to be from a temple in Khajuraho, an Indian city famed for the erotic art in its temples
Straight up giving history lessons, I can respect that.

Suddenly, every history nerd here just elevated your genitals to boutique status.

I don’t think hate fucking would be my thing. But I’m pretty sure you hear about exes hate fucking.
I wouldn't quite call it hate fucking, but I've had angry sex before. It can be cathartic. 🤣

I think we all can recognize that some people are on Lit just to get off -- they just want a partner. You see it in the personals all the time.

Low quality... just in it to win it.
"I'm horny tonight. Here's my KIK, let me know if we can help each other."

High quality...that connection.
It's important to us, even though everyone has specific needs for them personally.

Neither is wrong. It's just how things go.

However, to that guy still bumping his own thread that wants to jump straight to Skype without saying more than HI in posts or PMs, the answer is still NO.
