I'm backing out of this now. My opinion still stands. I have fun here, I enjoy myself there. There are many people from both boards that I would really enjoy getting to know better. In agreement with Heavy Stick, we need to remember who makes it possible for us to have these boards, threads and chat room. That would be Laurel and Manu.

Why is it that people who generally post on the GB hates people postings from the PG? But, vice versa, people in the PG rarely (or never) insults people from the GB?

Asides from the inherent bias of your initial post, and the fact that Sexy Chele tried to answer the question honestly and was bashed for it, here are some of the differences.

What the PG thinks of the GB
A forum full of mostly mean and hateful people who delight in bashing others. All the GB does is discuss serious stuff and no one has fun.

What the GB thinks of the PG:
A forum of people who flirt mindlessly and never discuss anything of substance, unless it is in a support group kind of way.

I think one of the differences is evidenced by the fact that moments after the shuttle tragedy, the first thread appeared and there were many of them discussing the tragedy, the imapcts to our country, reasons it happened and worldwide reactions.

On the PG, there is one thread, started an hour and fifteen minutes after it happened (kudos to tonitits for starting it) that only has 16 total posts (6 by the thread starter).

Some of the posts here just solidify my opinion that people will never be able to get along, because they can't see past the end of their own noses.
