I wasn't sticking up for her, in particular. I actually had other people in mind when I posted. I wasn't posting about this particular dispute. I never named any names in regards to who I personally view as a mindless follower, and I mean to keep it that way. No, I don't think it is right to get in someone's face and berate them or smear them. I didn't mean to imply that I have anything against Chele. Good for her for wanting to know the facts. I didn't realize that posting my opinions would lead to this sort of dispute. If it means that much to you all, then I will keep my opinions to myself in the future. It wasn't clear from your initial posts that you were only talking about a select, unnamed few. We could only assume you were referring to whomever GF named, since that was the topic at hand. I'm sure you can see why we would think that as we only have the words in the posts to go by (well, until we perfect that whole mind-reading thing. ).

I agree with you that there are nasty people on the GB. I'm sure there's nasty people in the Playground, as well. Seeing as how I was artlessly smeared this evening (although frankly, it's hard to mind it in such a humorous way!) I could name at least one. Just as the GB has it's share of toads, I'm sure there are people who are roundly disliked on the Playground as there are on the BDSM board as there are on AmPics as there are on pretty much every posting board or chat room on the 'Net.

I am glad that you are a reasonable person and can see that I had no real malice intent in my posts. Just venting my annoyance with the heartless cruelty I have seen go on. I don't really know any of the people that have posted to this thread. I can't speak for or against any of them. I am fairly new to this particular board, but I have found it to be generally friendly and accepting and haven't encountered anything nasty here. The same goes for the AmPics board. Most everyone there is very kind and sometimes (in my opinion) overly generous with their compliments. Over there, if any one gets out of line, people really don't like it. Its generally accepted, on the APB, that if you don't have anything nice to say, you don't say anything at all. I left the GB because of the cruelty I saw there. I left because I didn't care to be a witness to that, or be a victim of it. I don't see any point in encouraging heartlessness or childishness. I sincerely apologize to any of you that thought I was talking about you.
