Prayers for all experiencing Natural Disasters

I just want to send prayers and blessings to all who are dealing with Natural Disasters. I hope you're shocked with batteries, flashlights, candles, matches, water, cooler, ice, good and something to protect yourself with. I wish all of you on and off LIT safety.

Haiti is under water as well. I just hope everyone is physically healthy. Houses may be damaged but, treasure your loved ones and appreciate the lives that are with you. It's scary for many. Much love goes out to all dealing with these Natural Disasters.

Can I gently suggest, though, that anyone framing the titles of these sort of threads allows for people who are not religious, but are still (of course) capable of empathy? We atheists don't spend all day eating babies.

Of course. You don't have to have the same beliefs. We should all have compassion for our fellow men and women, no matter what differences we have.

May prayers be with those along the eastern seaboard. May they all be safe and take shelter wherever they can. My cousin left Charleston three days ago. Her house is ten miles from the beach.
