Good morning all.
It's Tuesday morning and it's a bit warm.
Today I am headed into the shop, then depending on how tired I get will determine the degree of yard work I will do. My friend from home sent me a gift card for my birthday that I used to get a manual lawn mower that I am eager to try out. My yard isn't very big, so I have been using a weed trimmer to cut grass that does a number on my back. Hopefully this helps.

Hope everyone has a great day. :)

Morning Space Denizens. Headed for the mid eighties today with a yard in need of cutting and trimming. I've seen worse and worked outdoors in higher heat and humidity so it's doable.

Attended the birthday party for a 100 year old who honestly looked healthier / better then his kids who were in their 70s. I got to meet a couple of the mitten medics from out base and thank them. Watched some interesting networking happen.

Paul and TNman I'm really glad the decision was to make it a clean break from HF. The HF people who were there were all about either staying away from me or pretending they did not know anything until I told them I'm done with everything HF. Apparently the fact not one of them bothered to actually find out what happened by talking directly to me or the Deputies before they fired me was OK by them.

Yard's cut and trimmed, it took forever to dry out enough to be able to get anything done. Now I'm just doing the allergy itching and sneezing thing, not to terribly bad though this time around. But on the plus side it was only in the upper seventies while I did my thing.

Shows you what their true feelings are.

I had issues with my new reel mower. Maybe my grass was too long to start with. ;)

I've seen old reel mowers that were made back in the 1930's and 1940's. When you compare them to the newer ones you immediately see how much heavier and durable they were then. Even more interesting were the small two stroke engines developed to add on to them to rotate the blades. Those things are terrifying! If I had a tiny yard I'd be more interested in an electric or battery powered mower.

it was a pain, but I'll get used to it. :)

Yuck. Me and mowers not getting along. Last time the deck came apart. Todaya piece of rope got tangled up, but did get all the acre mowed.
The up side... i can strip at the garage door  and cool down before i shower.

Good morning Spacelings

Starry - yeah, as much as volunteering is part of my life, there have been organizations I've just walked away from because, all intentions aside - at the end of the day they were just idiots.

Shmily - LOL - I think landmowers will be the cutting edge of when robots overthrow the world!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good afternoon everyone.
Today was an errand day, so no yard work. Besides, the temperature keeps climbing.

Evening and Howdy all! Hope all y'all are doing amazing I've been away for too long because life has been too busy, but that's how it goes. Better too busy than too bored!

Good morning all.
It is a Saturday and for the first time in a while, I slept in past 7am. :)

Today's agenda includes some yardwork when I motivate my ass to do it followed by a shift at the pizza place tonight. I have a day shift tomorrow at said Pizza place before both jobs Monday morning.

The good news is that my last day at the pizza place is the 15th of July. The Mrs wanted to let me quit as a birthday present and the daughter was all for it since she tells me her dad works too much. I just can't wait to be honest.
