Temporarily Leaving Lit

For reasons I'd rather not go into publicly, I will be leaving Lit for now. I've had a rather emotional experience and feel it necessary to withdraw, at least for a little while. I'll miss my friends but need to step back and take a breather.

Thanks, Ben. I don't really want to leave but am feeling confusion over actions that I've taken that have adversely affected someone else (not my spouse). I feel like running away, which in a sense is what I'm about to do, run away from Lit, at least until I heal.

Thanks, Sharon and Ben. Right now, I feel like a 6-year-old that's hurting. I just want to pull into myself and hide, curl into a ball and hide my head under the blankets wishing it would all go away. I don't consider myself to be lacking in self-confidence in the least, except for right this very moment. I just am feeling like I've started rolling a snowball down the slope and it's picked up speed and started an avalanche. Something I can't fix no matter what I do.

Damn, I'm rambling again. I'm usually better at expressing myself.

Thanks, Sam. I guess the biggest problem I'm facing right now is lack of control. I'm so used to being in control of my environment, and I can't control this situation. I thought I had done everything in my power to ensure that I wouldn't be in this dilemma, yet the one thing I couldn't do is make sure that others involved would go down the same path I chose.

That doesn't make any sense, I know, just to me.

I loved the few exchanges we have had, you are a lovely woman, I hope everything works out for you, the solutions are always there to every challenge we come across. I think you are right to leave for a while, I certainly have found that helpful too, it can feel a bit like a whirlwind sometimes, and the reality is that things are often easier face to face with someone, a lot of understanding what we say is tone of voice and body language, so in that way the internet isn't ideal...
