I'm protesting...this sucksGood day everyone! May 2nd and there is frost on the ground. WTH?
It is ridiculous. It was warmer 30 days ago.I'm protesting...this sucks![]()

This is not the type of weather you want / need for your next race. You don't want hot, but temps in the mid 60's would be best I would imagine.
The next one is in the south...like it ends in georgia (we don't know where it starts until the day before) ..... Mid JuneThis is not the type of weather you want / need for your next race. You don't want hot, but temps in the mid 60's would be best I would imagine.
My ideal race temps is low 60s.This is not the type of weather you want / need for your next race. You don't want hot, but temps in the mid 60's would be best I would imagine.
Yup!My ideal race temps is low 60s.
Georgia in mid-June has the potential to possibly be unpleasant. The next one is in the south...like it ends in georgia (we don't know where it starts until the day before) ..... Mid June
I'll just be happy if it's not surface of the sun hot
But yes 60s are "fast" temps if there's no or limited rain
Good morning.Cozy with coffee and devil music
We started in illinois right at the Missouri boarder last year and yes there were some hot days it was manageable....which leads me to believe this year will be crazy hot and humidGeorgia in mid-June has the potential to possibly be unpleasant.
MorningGood morning.
That would be my fear. The humidity would be a killer. We started in illinois right at the Missouri boarder last year and yes there were some hot days it was manageable....which leads me to believe this year will be crazy hot and humid

Prepare for everything and hope for the best I suppose ... I'm assuming humidity and mountainsThat would be my fear. The humidity would be a killer.
I suppose that is the only way to approach it. What is the typical completion percentage for the rate? I would think the dropout (did not finish) rate would be significant.Prepare for everything and hope for the best I suppose ... I'm assuming humidity and mountains
Dude is a psychopath and enjoys torturing the runners..I think he thought last year was too easy
I am jealous of the weather and the view.
It's a self selecting group is the thing .....I'd have to look at last year but I'm guessing it's a finish rate of 60%I suppose that is the only way to approach it. What is the typical completion percentage for the rate? I would think the dropout (did not finish) rate would be significant.
On my way
That is something I neglected to consider that the entrant field would already be narrowed down. It's a self selecting group is the thing .....I'd have to look at last year but I'm guessing it's a finish rate of 60%
You only need to average around 30 miles per day to stay ahead of the cutoff .... And for this race they wait-list everyone then kind of look over everyone before moving you into the race.
I mean only a certain kind of person even signs up for a race that's 400 ish miles with a route you don't know ahead of time put on by a notorious race designer/director (famous within ultra running circles: Lazarus Lake)
Good morning. Hopefully it is warmer in your neck of the woods.Good morning Cozy Friends! Happy weekend!
