Been busy this weekend and have not had a chance to post much but for those who are interested here are my opinions for the day..First off we have lost another sports legend ..Ted Williams passed away and to me he was a hero on and off the field having been one of the best ball players around he put his carrer on hold to serve our country ..Rest in peace Teddy ..The Tigers traded Jeff Weaver for nothing in my opinion they make it sound like we made out on this deal but thats just not true ..He was traded because of some comments he made about upper management and how they handle things around here all he said was it is a joke and all that said was what every fan hear already knew..Well Yankee Fans you took our only good pitcher hope you all treat him nice he was good to Detroit and will be missed..

Now for any hockey fans left out there ...Things ;ook bad for Toronto this summer They lose thier goalie but I can't complain about that one because he camre to my team ..Guy knows a winner from a loser i guess..:D Hey you got Belfour maybe just /maybe he can get his head out of his ass long enough to win some games but with the horrible Defense they have do not look for them to make the playoffs this year..Oh And to top it off they raised the ticket prices hmmm I have to ask why, they did not get anyone to justify that in my opinion ..

Guerin ends up in Dallas but I still do not think he will help to much ..He wanted to come to the wings but Dallas gave him 45 million for five years who could pass that up..

The N.Y. Rangers had some good pickups Holik has signed and so did Kasparaitis maybe now they can make the playoffs and give Jenny Oman hill something to cheer about ..They also retained Richter I don't care about his injuries i think he will have a good season coming up..

The Blues did nothing to help the team at all and boy do they need it ..The coaches and managewment told them that they won't sign anyone and that players need to look in the mirror and start to take responsibility for the team ..What a load of crap that is ..Noone wants to play for them thats the bottom line they will be a decent team but you will not see them with the cup anytime soon..

The avs have been surprizingly quit this summer and they also lost Kasparaitis ...Hmmm should be interesting to see if Forsberg and Sackic and Whaaaa can caryy this team again...Tahts all I have to say about them asses..

Briefly...Columbus signed Luke Richardson and Scott Lachance not a bad thing for that team gives them some age and leadership ...Adam Oates is going to Anahiem and that is a big plus for them because with Kariya's shooting ability and Otases passing skills they could be dangerous..
