Canes

Now that was an AWESOME game. Sweet OT goal. I hope the rest of the series is as competitive as this game was. Wings played well as did the Canes. It should be fun
 
PHHHHHHHHT..Not a good game wings sucked and played like they were old men they need to pick it up because the cains have speed and that boring ass trap that makes for dull hockey what a snoozer that game was by the second intermission me and the girlfriend found something much more ecxiting to play so I did miss the overtime and all but she didn't reaize that I left the tv on in the other room and was listening to the game while we made love oh well go wings :)

Aunt Bee and Opie came to town and THOROUGHLY trashed the wings on their home ice.

Enjoy the victory while you can and my hats off to the caines they played that boring ass trap perfect and it made for a boring game..Now that you have won one it is time to sit back reelaxe and watch the wings take over..Congrats caines fans you did something good last night you woke the wings up that is just what they needed they always play batter after losing a game just ask colorado about that one and as for irbe he ain't all that but then again niether is Dom but Dom will prevail and we will have the cup again this year and I will get more pics of me with it ..:)

Go Lakers Go far away and never come back:D Only playing I do not watch Bball so I do not even know who is playing for what ever they call there championship...I have tried to get into the game but like baseball it puts me to sleep...I think I will stick with Hockey and Football..I thought this was a stupid idea for a thread but it seems to have taken off ..I know I am aloud mouth when it comes to the wings and I would like to take this time to thank all of you who have helped keep this thread alive and I would also like to thank you sports fans for dissing the opposing team but not getting personal about it thanks for keeping it fun ...Take care all and have a great day:D

Ok Knightstalker. I am going to assume that you think the Wings played a good game tonight because they won. Congrats on the win by the way. But I actually think they played a better game the other night. Like I said all I want is competitive. and for the most part they are delivering.

PLease keep in mind that Doninick Hasek has not been able to win the big games when he has had to (in the NHL) I don't know if that was a product of environment or something else...but I guess we will see :):)

I hope it's a good series too Mel... I doubt though that it can be as exciting as the Kings/Lakers series..... that was a heart stopper...:D

Ok Mel I am happy about the wings winning but you are right about everything that you said last nights game was not one of the better games I have watched but there were some bright spots for me anyway..The Grind line was at it again and so was Federov they played good games but what the fuck is with the rest of our big guns they are being a little to quite..oh well enough for now hangover is kicking in and my head is pounding ...:)

Thought I better pop in and show support in case the Laker haters come out again. Actually, so far everyone in this series has shown a lot of class. Tonight's game should be interesting. I think it is more important for the home team to win the first 2 in this kind of format (2-3-2) because if you don't the other team has a chance to finish it before you can get another home game.

As for talking sports and not sex, I have come up with a new slogan for watching the NBA.....

I can just see us... the two us sitting quietly in the corner.... our little purple and gold pompoms in hand.... whispering... "go Lakers"

It's hard to be a Laker fan when they are winning.... makes me almost understand what the Yankee fans go through.... year after year after year after year.... :D

So far the first half of this game has been deadly dull.....*sigh*

We have the whiners, a convicted sex offender, a forward that has been thru coke rehab three times, and a starting guard on trial for drug possession now here locally. No wonder we can't stand them! LOL
