Has an informal gathering ever been arranged to anyone's knowledge? I was just thinking it would be fun to set a place for us all to meet. It appears there are a few from Tacoma, some from Seattle and me, I'm from out on the peninsula. Does this seem like something to do? Suggestions?

It's been talked about a couple of times, but nothing has ever actually happened. It has seemed that locations, schedules, and inhabitions have alway gotten in the way.

Also, it has always turned out to be a 'sausage fest' so most people have backed out.

But if people could all agree on a time and place, I'd certainly join in.

Gatherings are difficult when you don't get to know people well, at least that's why I haven't gone to one myself.

But, it is nice to know there are 'locals' at Lit!

LOL I tried really hard this summer to get the Northwest together, but there wasn't too much cooperation. It always amazes me that people that have no problem expressing thier sexual desires here at Lit, are too shy to meet in person.

I heard it said just recently that sexuality is basicly a combination of fantasy and friction. Maybe the reality of actually meeting people bursts the fantasy bubble. I for one would be happy to commit to meeting up with some of my fellow literotica members. I would love to see a show of hands of those who feel the same way.

Actually, there are people I know better from other threads that don't happen to be NW people... =) I'd feel easier about meeting them, as I know them fairly well (at least as well as one can online). I'm not opposed to meeting people from Lit in person, I'd just prefer to get to know them first.
