The next five days are supposed to be gorgeous in both Portland and Seattle...Saturday should be the warmest with Portland at 70 and Seattle at 68....great stuff!

I hope so, i finally got to get in a good bike ride today and hopefully some golf on sunday:)

today I hiked around Powell Butte with my dog Sam the Aussie)... had clear views of Hood, St, Helens, Adams, and even Jefferson! Whatta glorious day! Now this is why I stay here in the PNW! Makes every drop of rain worth it!

that sounds great:) i have been to St Helens a few times it is very cool there, some good hikes too.

It was 70 here today...my various mint plants (which are supposed to be annuals...NOT) are all up and anywhere from 3 inches to 18 inches tall. When I was weeding, if I accidentally crushed a mint leaf...it smelled GREAT and a side benefit--the moles won't come near them because of the powerful aroma! I have spearmint, peppermint, orange mint, lemon mint, and my personal favorite--chocolate mint. Any of these are great when you add them to tea or a dinner salad. Supposed to get warmer as the weekend hits...hope everybody has a great one.

Will deer eat the mint plants???? I am looking for some nice things to plant that won't get totally devoured. LOL:rose: :D
