Calling peoples beliefs dumb is hurtful and just plain narrow minded. People find solace in their religions and spiritualism that I don't understand but it makes them happy and, for the most part, good people who contribute to society in a meaningful way. I think of all the people in history who have uplifted the poor and destitute, they all seem to be religious people following the word of their god. There are also religions that have been twisted to suit a certain narrative but these are not actually religions in the true sense of the word as they spew hate and vengeance on a world that doesn't see things their way.
