I do understand. Spend a lot of reading on sexual health, both men and women.I understand that but I’m going more along the lines of sexual health.
I would say health care providers aren't trained to consider ramifications of healthcare decisions on sexual health. It's just not a concern, or even an afterthought. Part of the problem is they haven't been trained to consider those things. Unfortunately, like a lot of things you need to learn to advocate for yourself.
I'm sure that's true. Then mix in biases based on culture and other factors, and people with issues 'fall through the cracks'. A lot of our 'medical industry' leaves a sour taste...There’s definite gender bias in medical treatment.
