I am thinking that both job seeking and hiring is a dystopia. The tech market is wild right now and our recruiter has daily stories of the horrors she’s encountering. It’s like a reality show, but instead it’s her job.

It’s survival of the fittest here. And it ain’t me, let me tell you.

The birds really stop at nothing, which makes sense because they’re protecting the baby from what they feel is a threat. They’ll slam your head, poop, scream like crazy… The baby is very cute, though.

This is an almost yearly occurrence, because despite our best efforts, the seagulls sometimes manage to build a nest on the roof. Luckily it doesn’t last that long, and I’m away for the weekend. I hope the baby has waddled its way to the neighbors yard by the time I return.

I am thinking, it is super confusing and frustrating having to navigate here, and that this place sometimes makes me feel restrained and stifled.
