I"m so sorry we couldn't make our contribution to the festivities. It was a great show, however. We saw solar flares (I think) during totality. Amazing.

Positive, I was blessed with another day.
My Neighborhood BBQ Eclipse Party went great.
I stopped counting at 50 people.
44 confirmed coming, last week.
The only things that I ran out of were brownies and cupcakes.

The eclipse itself, was incredibly beautiful.
We were in "totality" for over 3 minutes.
I'm happy that I was alive to see it, and more importantly, clean for it.

The reception of my latest story has exceeded my expectations. A little more than 800 views today, with four comments already. The first ten votes were all 5s, with one 4 since then.

The strange thing is that this isn't really a story I'd point to and say, "This is some of my best work," or even "This is the hottest scene I've written." But apparently my readers disagree, and who am I to argue with those fine, discerning people?
